Mixing & extruding one-step sheet forming line for environmentally friendly starch-based filling materials

In the past 20 years, the core technology team of Chuangbo has been innovating the infusion technology of twin screw technique with biodegradable materials production and engineering technologies. The co-rotation screw one-step sheet forming technology and equipment are successfully developed. The on-site modification, plastifying, devolatilization, extrusion and sheet forming processes are perfectly integrated while the pelleting process is removed. Thus the whole production process is remarkably simplified, and the cost is significantly lowered.

Because of the removal of pelleting process, the high temperature period of material is greatly reduced, resulting in better quality and performance of the product.

In addition to single layer sheet forming technology, Chuangbo has developed the one-step starch-based composite sheet extrusion technology. Application area of the twin screw extrusion technology, in terms of biodegradable materials, is expanded.

Besides, this innovation could be applied to many other kinds of biodegradable material, such as PLA, PVA, PPC, PBS, and so on. These materials are widely used for disposable tableware, houseware, packaging, and so on.

After years of researching, Chuangbo successfully developed the energy-saving PET sheet forming line with specially designed twin screw extrusion process. After 3 years of operation in Gaofuda Plastic Product Co., Ltd., the performance of the forming line turns out to be desirable. Its features include:

1. The material pre-drying and pre-crystallization in the traditional technique are removed. The production cost, typically in terms of energy consumption, is tremendously reduced—the annual energy charge alone can save you a lot of money.

2. According to the water sensitivity property of PET, we developed on-line high performance low energy consumption water-devolatilization technology. Our high torque twin screw technology and specially designed main stucture of the machine, together with the water-devolatilization, can lower the water sensitivity impact and viscosity to a low level,contributing to the consistent and improving product quality

3. The production process is simplified, making it suitable for different PET including crushed waste material and regular material (such as APET, PETG, GAG, and so on). All the operation process is rather convenient, and the productivity can be greatly enhanced.

4. For recycling material which has different sizes and shapes, we developed precision LIW (loss in weight) feeding system and dual close-circle control technology, making the production line suitable for material with different appearance. Besides, the extrusion precision is also enhanced.

5. The production line comes with two types—the single layer sheet forming line and the composite sheet forming line (GAG). You can make your choice according to your need.

6. You can purchase a new production line from us, or choose to upgrade your existing traditional single screw production line according to our new technology by our technician team.
